K OF C FUND DRIVE
FOR DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED MAY 6-8, 2010
Township of Washington, NJ, April
2 –
On Thursday, May 6, members of Mother
Seton Council #5427 of the Knights of Columbus in the Township of Washington
will don their bright yellow and red trimmed aprons to signify that the annual
fundraiser for the developmentally disabled has begun. Brother Knights
will be “shaking the can” at key locations in the Township soliciting donations.
For this, and all such events, 100% of every dollar received by the K of C
volunteers goes directly to aid our neighbors.
Last year this drive raised over
$17,000, thanks to a grant of $10,000 from the OritaniBank Charitable
Foundation. We hope to do as well again this year. All knights
volunteer their time for these activities and bear any expenses themselves.
This fundraising event will continue through Saturday, May 8th. Donations
by mail, to the K of C Charity Fund, 79 Pascack Road, Township of Washington, NJ
07676 are always welcome, all year long.

million hours in fraternal services to them. Additionally 413,402 Knights

last year.
